Lauren and Josh had known each other from school and decided that the perfect place to get married was the Limes Country Lodge.

We first met at school in 2008 when we were both in year 10. Josh was asked to help me header a ball in GCSE PE, needless to say that he still mimics the way I headered the ball like a ''salmon''

We planned the wedding over 2 years and enjoyed every moment. when the day finally arrived on 4th August 2019 we knew that we had chosen and planned everything just as we both wanted it to be.

I had my dress from Dream Days in Dudley who were brilliant and made every visit special, the ladies could not have done anymore to accommodate our needs. MJH Wedding Essentials provided the decorations and music, they matched my colour theme perfectly and provided us with a DJ that played the night away with all our favourite tunes.

The whole day was amazing and everyone had the best time, but one of the funniest moments of the day was when one of our flower girls poked the cake before it was cut and it spent the rest of the day lopsided in all the photos. We still laugh about it now.

Our advise to anyone planning a wedding is to enjoy every moment, it may seem dull at times when you're asked to choose this or that but when it's all over and you have had your amazing day you do miss the excitement of it all.

A moment to reflect on our special day.

We would like to say a special thank you to all of our wonderful family and friends for sharing our fabulous wedding day and to everyone who helped make it happen.Thank you Lauren and Josh 💖
