On the 4th of April 2026, Alison and Jonathan said “I do” in the most romantic setting — a traditional ceremony at the world-famous Blacksmiths Shop in Gretna Green at 11am. Surrounded by their closest family, it was a day full of emotion, joy, and meaningful memories from beginning to end.

Alison looked absolutely stunning in her bridal gown from Dream Days Bridal Wear, alongside her beautiful daughter, who also wore a dress from our collection. Seeing them together was simply magical — elegance, confidence, and love shining through every moment.

Jonathan and his son looked incredibly smart in suits from Peter Posh in Tettenhall, perfectly complementing the day’s timeless and classic feel.

The family stayed at The Smiths Hotel in Gretna Green, setting the tone for a relaxed and special celebration. After the ceremony, they enjoyed a wonderful wedding meal together — a perfect opportunity to soak in the joy of the day, with delicious food and drinks shared among loved ones.

Alison’s bridal look was completed by the talented Emma and Claire, who created flawless hair and makeup that made her feel as beautiful as she looked.

Their special moments were beautifully captured by photographer Alister Lynn, ensuring memories of the day will be treasured forever.

The wedding cake, lovingly made by local cake maker Tracey Irving Jackson, was another highlight — a stunning and delicious addition to an already perfect day.

But what truly made this wedding so special was the love that surrounded Alison and Jonathan. With Alison’s mother, father, two sisters, and her wonderful children Jack and Charlotte by their side, it was a day filled with warmth, laughter, and deep connection.

From Miss Alison Louise Jones to Mrs Alison Louise Nye, this was more than just a name change — it was the beginning of a beautiful new chapter with her “perfect, handsome, loving husband,” Jonathan.
